Implementation Guide

Our Editorial Collections are easy to integrate into your site, using a standard line of code (JS).

The editorial strategy, what content surfaces within the Collections, is determined on your end. Once defined, and set up our Partnership team will provide you with a unique Collection ID.

In the below implementation guide, replace data-stackid=”sample with the ID we provide, usually 32 characters, with a mix of letters and numbers like “xx65dd3dc1491cd5baffce9044d6f1pl

Installing on a test page

To add this to a test page, copy and paste the following code onto a page to try it out.

<div class="dml-widget-container" data-stackid="sample"></div>
<script async src="//c.go-fet.ch/a/embed.js"></script>

Installing Site-wide

1. Add this to the footer of the site – ideally just before the closing body tag (eg, </body>).

<script async src="//c.go-fet.ch/a/embed.js"></script>

2. Add the container wherever you want the collection to appear.

This should work on an article page, or a section/front page. You can add multiple collections

on the same page.

<div class="dml-widget-container" data-stackid="sample"></div>

Installing the Viewer in WordPress with a Plugin

To integrate DML with your WordPress site, see the installation instructions here.

Updating with Collection ID & Customized Headers

The follow should be added to the code (container div tag).

  • data-stackid: Set to the Collection ID we provide as noted above.

You have the option of updating the Collection Header to your liking

  • data-header: If you wish to customize the header you can provide an alternate text, replacing “Custom Header Text” within whatever you wish. For example “Editor’s Picks.

Example:

<div class="dml-widget-container"
     data-stackid="sample"
     data-header="Custom Header Text"></div>

Layout Options

To include a collection in the sidebar on your site include the layout=sidebar option.

  • data-layout: “sidebar”

Example:

<div class="dml-widget-container"
     data-stackid="sample"
     data-layout="sidebar"></div>
